Cold Snap hits Warminster
By wp_alistair | Monday, January 30, 2012, 10:52
We have our first cold snap of the year, with snow falling overnight (and still falling) creating some pretty scenes around Warminster.
-
Snowy scenes at Heavens Gate, Longleat Estate near Warminster this morning (circa 9.30am)
The temperature itself isn't that cold today, above freezing, and so the snow is not really settling on pavements or roads, much to the relief of drivers and pedestrians.
However tonight (Monday) the temperature will drop to minus 2 degrees, and so tomorrow morning we will all definitely need our gloves and ice-scrapers.
More sleet/snow is predicted for the beginning of next week.

Thought we were all getting off to lightly...But doesn't the walk through Heaven's Gate, look so inviting and beautiful today.
