Firework and bonfire displays in Wiltshire 2012

This weekend is full of events happening across Wiltshire as the 5th November approaches. Here are some of the fireworks and bonfire displays happening in your area. 

Trowbridge Fireworks Display @ Greenhill Fields, Saturday, 3rd, November 2012 

The Bradford-on-Avon Rotary Club are hosting Trowbridge's annual firework display at Greenhill Fields near Southwick. The event will feature plenty of music entertainment and stalls selling refreshments from 6pm. 

The fireworks display will begin at 7pm. A single ticket costs £5 or can be purchased in advance at the gate or from Cadby's Jewellers and Scholars. 

Melksham Firework Display @ Melksham Rugby Ground, Monday, 5th November 2012 

Melksham's local firework display will be held at the Rugby Ground. 

The bar at the rugby club will be open for refreshments which can be taken to the firework display. Other tasty treats include a BBQ, sweets and cakes. 

Profits from the event will go towards the Aloeric School and Melksham Rugby Club. Adult tickets are £5 and seniors and children £3. Tickets can be purchased from Aloeric, Cobblers Bench, Buds and the Rugby Club. 

Westbury Firework Display @ White Horse Country Park, Saturday, 3rd, November 2012 

The White Horse Country Park will be holding a public firework display. The area is scenic with the famous White Horse looking down at the country park. 

The bonfire will be lit at 6:30pm followed by a fireworks display at 7pm. 

Advanced tickets are £4 (£5 on the night) for adults, £2.50 for children and £12 (£15 on the night) for a family ticket (two adults and two children). Tickets can be purchased at the park. For more information about the event please call: 01373 822323.

Warminster Garrison Fireworks Display @ Land Warfare Centre, Imber Road, Friday, 2nd, November 2012.

The annual fireworks display is set to be quite an attraction with many things to do throughout the evening. 

Attractions include: a bar, sparklers, hot food and various rides at Jennings Fun Fair. 

Plus special guest Breeze Radio DJ Tony Wright will be the host of the evening. 

Advanced tickets are £2 or £3 on the night. Children under the age of 4 years go free. Gates open at 6pm. Tickets can be purchased from Warminster Library, Spar shops in Westbury and Dilton Marsh or from the Land Warfare Centre. 

Chippenham Fireworks Display @ Monkton Park, Saturday, 3rd, November 2012 

Chippenham Rotary Club will be hosting this year's firework display at Monkton Park. 

The bonfire will be lit at 6:15pm and fireworks will begin at 7pm. There will also be some fantastic rides and amusements throughout the evening including glowsticks and accessories on sale.

Tickets purchased in advance are £3 and tickets on the gate for adults and children are £5. Under 7 years old admitted for free. Tickets are available at the Chippenham Tourist information centre Bump & Beyond, One Stop, Humbugs Sweet Shop, Headways Barbers and Dolman's Furniture. 

Corsham Fireworks Display @ Neston Recreational Ground, Saturday, 10th, November 2012

The village of Neston will be lit up by their annual fireworks display in aid of the Friends of Neston School charity. 

Many refreshments and food will be on sale at the grounds including glowsticks and other glow in the dark accessories.
