Gold Award for Kingdown Students in Warminster

During July and August ten students from Kingdown School in Warminster completed their Duke of Edinburgh Gold Expedition by canoeing 81 miles down the Telemark Canal in Norway from Ulefoss to Dalen.

All students successfully completed the expedition and were a credit to themselves,  their school and families during the exercise. The expedition assessor Doug Clark said "I was highly impressed with the team work and ability of all the participants.  They worked very well together and looked after each other during the expedition".

Participants included: Guy Trimby, Craig Thomson, Heather Newman, Will Trojak, Tom Muston, Tom Brown, Ed Lester-Card, Alex Mitchel, Ryan Welch, and Joe Gregory.
