Police Appeal: Market Place assault in Warminster

Police are appealing for information following an incident which happened in the early hours of Saturday, 26, January 2013 in Warminster.
Between 2:30am and 3am two women aged 21 and 49 and a man aged 25 were assaulted by a group of women in Warminster Market Place near the John Barleycorn pub.
Three women were arrested in connection with the incident on suspicion of being drunk and disorderly and common assault. Two women aged 19 from Westbury and another woman aged 21.) All three women were released on bail pending further enquiries.
Police would now like to speak to anyone who saw the incident.
PC James Isaac said: "We are aware there were a number of people in the area at the time and I would like to speak to anyone who has information regarding the incident."
