Swindon band to play at award winning pub in Warminster

A band will be performing at an award winning pub in Warminster this weekend it has been announced.
The Cotton Pickers will be playing at the Yew Tree, Warminster Friday, 8, March 2013.
The Yew Tree in Warminster which won Regional Winner Marston's Live Music Pub 2012 will be showcasing The Cotton Pickers since they formed last year.
The country band will be performing traditional folk music including a fiddler, a bango and harmonica to bring out the sounds of one of the longest standing music genres.
Mike Willis who plays for the band said: "We have all known eachother for many years and decided to put the Cotton Pickers together to play a real cross section of country music, and with material not covered by other bands on the country music circuit."
"We are looking forward to playing at the Yew Tree and to catching up with old friends and to making many new ones."
Admission to the gig is free with music starting at 9pm.
