Over 1000 people have already responded to a survey asking "What Matters To You" in Wiltshire, and more people are being encouraged to take part before the closing date which falls just before Christmas.

The questionnaire, which is freely available on-line and at libraries, has also been posted to 20,000 randomly selected households in the County.

Wiltshire Council are hoping to receive open and honest feedback on topics including; What's it like to live in the area; What are the spending priorities; Healthy Living; The Natural Environment; and Community safety issues.

The survey is a joint initiative by Wiltshire Police, Wiltshire Fire & Rescue Service, NHS Wiltshire, The Probation Service and Wiltshire Council.

The closing date for the survey is just before Christmas, and the results will be made public in Spring 2012.

You can take part in the survey here.
