Everybody on stage for the final scene of Toy Story at St George's Catholic Primary School in Woodcock Road, Warminster.
Primary School in Woodcock Road.
In two performances for parents and friends the club members acted out a specially written and adapted
Toy Story variation which told the story of "finding Slinky's bottom".
Delicious looking green peas with matching wigs, Erin Blackburn, Jessica Cannings and Aimee Burroughs
sunk to their knees to play their part and brought along a convincing pod to prove their
identity.
The drill executed by helmeted soldiers Matthew Merritt,
Ethan McConnell, Jack Laffey made an impressive display as did the tap dance
enjoyed by Eve Rickhuss as Teddy and Darcey Wheeler as Mrs Potato Head.
Highlights of the show were the Aliens, Rebecca Fry, Hannah
Pyper and Megan Buck who had perfected an American accent for their "unisonic"
lines and Buzz Lightyear's flamenco dance, which showed authentic flare – as did his assertive
gesturing.
Head teacher Mrs Louise Croker, with Mr Kerry Bishop at the piano, directed
the play which enjoyed much audience
participation and ensured that "no toys got left behind"!
