Warminster Town Council has announced the plan to plant trees on the north side of Boreham Road in Warminster.

The council is aiming for the trees to be planted once the pits are clear from Imber Road junction to Highbury Park.

Currently four tree pits have been confirmed suitable out of the possible nine pits the council would like to use.

The cost of the tree planting will be around £2,000 if permission is granted from the Wiltshire Council Highways committee.
