The Met Office has issued an 'amber' weather warning for Wiltshire after heavy rain overnight and this morning.

High winds and rain have been predicted for today's forecast which will cause roads to be flooded and visibility poor.

There are currently 60 flood warnings across the South West with some of them based in the Wiltshire area.

High winds of around 60mph are expected throughout the day causing disruption to public transport. Trains are likely to see delays especially trains coming from the South coast.

It has been reported parts of the UK will see around 60mm of rain today.

Traffic is expected to be slow moving today due to the weather so it is advised to take extra time for your journey this morning.
