Four men, including a 20-year-old man from Warminster, have been arrested in separate parts of the UK by an international police operation investingating the hacker groups Anonymous and Lulzsec.
The suspects are being questioned by the e-Crime unit at Scotland Yard. The arrests are part of a wider operation including UK agencies and the FBI. A global operation has been taking place to identify suspects following a wave of cyber-attacks by both groups on major companies and government institutions.
The list of targets has included: the CIA, US Senate, Amazon, Paypal and the UK's Serious Organised Crime Agency, who have all suffered intrusions or denial of service attacks.
