The future of the Old Town Hall is the only item on the agenda of an Extraordinary Meeting of Warminster Town Council to be held at Dewey House this evening.

An Extraordinary Meeting of Warminster Town Council has been called to discuss what support can be given to a project by Warminster Preservation Trust to bid for the building which will be auctioned tomorrow evening in Bristol.
Tomorrow evening the building goes under the auctioneer's hammer in Bristol. This eveningmembers of the Warminster Preservation Trust will be hoping that Councillors will consider what support they can give in terms of a financial contribution. The full agenda details are on the Council website.
By the end of the week the building will be in new hands. The Warminster Preservation Trust have worked hard to plan a new future for this Grade II listed building which was given to Warminster by Lord Bath and are hoping to make a successful bid so that it can be brought back into the ownership of the community.
Members of the public have three minutes at the beginning of the meeting to speak and it is their last opportunity to persuade the Council that funds should be made available for this project.
The meeting begins at 7pm.
