Wiltshire Council has been awarded government funding for a new free home insulation scheme.
Hundreds of local families could be entitled to the scheme which is open to private tenants and home owners who are elderly or on a low income. Those that qualify can have their lofts and cavity walls insulated for free.
The scheme is open to residents who are aged over 60 or on a low income
with school-age children and households where a member of the family is
unemployed or has been made redundant.
