Good coffee at a good price
Came here with friends and was impressed. Not much from the outside and we weren't sure if we should go in but we did and glad we did. Good coffee at good price. Not the most attractive décor inside or out but that doesn't matter.

Fantastic Cappuccino
I always test how good a coffee shop / cafe is by the cappuccino and the ones they serve at Cafe Journal are really amazing. I have just seen from another review here that they use continental chocolat - I have always wondered what it was they use, it really makes it special. Great little cafe with a great homely feel.

Charming cafe in Warminster
Cafe Journal is such a charming little place! It's the perfect place to meet for a catch up. I love the fact the walls are covered in newspapers, you find yourself getting distracted trying to read it. The atmosphere is so laid back, you can really feel at home.

Great Atmosphere
I love this little cafe. Being French themed it has a really great atmosphere. They sell a huge selection of drinks in particular fabulous cappuccinos!
They also have a wide selection of delicious looking cakes although I have always been good and resisted!

Lovely inside and out
Lovely place to sit, relax and enjoy a cappuccino always served with a continental 'chocolat'. Inside is warm and welcoming but, it is great to be able to go 'al fresco' when our weather allows it. It's great to watch the world go by and say 'hello' to people as they go by, a chance meeting with someone you haven't seen for a long time, catch up on gossip and generally chill out.

When this cafe arrived in Warminster it created a whole new atmosphere in the High Street. On the ceiling were old copies of French newspapers and the selection of patisserie brought a continental feel to a Wiltshire market town.
In summer chairs and tables on the pavement bring a chance to enjoy the street scene.
Not being a coffee drinker I can't comment on the cafe au lait or the cappuccino but do know the hot chocolate is delicious. Long vive le Cafe Journal in Warminster.By fredafootsore at 16:10 on 12/01/10
