(A review on behalf of my wife) Had a lovely time at the cake decorating class, which took place above Magpie on East Street. It was a small class so I was not intimidated or ignored, with a very keen teacher, happy to show you extra ideas and techniques. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable evening, and the icing recipe is delicious! I came away with 6 cakes each decorated differently, along with sugarcrafted flowers that we also learnt how to make. I have since made 3 batches of cakes and am hooked on cupcakes!!
