    Richard Fletcher, aged 46 of Dolphin Street in Salisbury has been formally charged with the attempted murder of Jakub Samulak, aged 22, in the Hillside Close area of Mere. Mr Fletcher is accused of wounding Mr Samulak with a nine-inch kitchen knife.     Wiltshire Police deal with a stabbing in Mere
    A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a stabbing in Mere, close to Warminster, yesterday morning. Wiltshire Police were called to the Hillside Close area in Mere just before 6am this morning after initial reports that a man had been stabbed.
