Monday debate: Wiltshire Police have been informed they will be receiving extra stun guns within the force.
The announcement comes shortly after two female police officers were shot in Greater Manchester last week.
According to the letter written by Chief Constable Patrick Geenty, the aim is to make police officers feel safer in their roles but to keep doing their job in a 'professional and caring way'.
