Art in the Park

Gandolf will be materialising once again at 10.00 am to open the first Art in the Park event to be held in Warminster Park Community Centre on Saturday 24th September. Artists from Wiltshire, Dorset and Somerset will be selling their products. Raffle, Photographs, Paintings, Cards, Jewellery, Sculptured Cloth Dolls, Wooden Plaques, Ceramics, Textiles, Embroidery, Henna Tattoos, Books, Chairs, and Objects made from Recyled Materials. Silent auction of Prince Charles watercolour print. Teas, coffees and cakes will be served all day long and there maybe some mysterious guests to round the day off. Doors close at 4.00 pm

Hi Alistair - the event is being organised by Linda Blake Chairman of Warminster Art Society with the help of some of the committee, in order to raise some funds for the Centre's refurbishment. The Art society meets every Tuesday afternoon in the Centre from September through to May, and periodically on Saturdays to hold workshops. Please come down with your camera on Saturday - there will be lots of interesting things going on all day. Linda Blake
