Black Swan Young Arts Open Competition

On Saturday, 23rd February, Warminster School students will be having their art work exhibited as part of the Black Swan Young Open Arts Competition in Frome. The Mayor of Frome, Pippa Goldfinger, will be judging the work and opening the inaugural exhibition at 12.00 noon. Twelve winners will be selected, and will each receive a half-day workshop with a professional artist. The competition has been set up with the aim of developing their individual skills and broadening their artistic experiences.

All forms of art and craft work are eligible in each of the age categories. This may include painting, drawing, collage, pottery, ceramics, jewellery, textiles, metal work, carpentry and sculpture.
