Audiences have a great choice of entertainment for the whole family this December at The Pound, Corsham.

Robin and the Big Freeze is the first of the festive theatre trio on Friday 2 December at 6.30pm. With suitcases and satnavs the birds are getting ready to leave town. Robin remains – he's got lots to do like tweeting at anyone who comes near his patch and posing for Christmas cards. But the snow is on its way and lots of it. Is everyone ready for the big freeze? This show is perfect for families and everyone aged four and up. Tickets are £8 (£7 concessions) and £25 for a family.

Everyone knows Charles Dickens' story of A Christmas Carol, however on Saturday 3 December at 7.30pm, Brother Wolf presents the tale with a twist; A Christmas Carol as told by Jacob Marley (Deceased). Told from the perspective of Scrooge's deceased business partner, this imaginative adaptation promises thrills, chills and excitement for all aged 9 and up. Tickets are £9 (£8 concessions).

And last but not least, favourites Proteus Theatre Company return to The Pound with an exotic treat for Christmas - Arabian Nights. Full of Proteus' unique style fusing circus, magic, film and music, climb aboard the magic carpet on Thursday 15 December and Friday 16 December at 6.30pm for the ride of your life! Suitable for all aged five and up, audiences will be taken on a magical journey to the far east, to the home of Aladdin, Ali Baba, Sinbad and Scheherazade, the most famous storyteller of all. The Thursday performance will be sign-interpreted. Tickets are £8 (£7 concessions) and £25 family.

Tickets can be booked by either calling the box office on 01249 701628, online 24 hours a day at www.poundarts.org.uk or visit The Pound in person. The box office is open Monday to Friday, 10am to 7pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm.
