Today's story of a record breaking hoard of Roman coins being unearthed in a field near our neighbour  Frome,  is exciting news for metal detector enthusiasts - http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/10546960.stm.

Local treasures that have been discovered by these machines include a Viking brooch  found near Longbridge Deverill last year  - http://www.warminsterpeople.co.uk/news/Viking-brooch-Longbridge-Deverill-3-miles-south-Warminster/story-4559015-detail/story.html and the Warminster Jewel found on Cley Hill in 1997 - http://www.warminsterpeople.co.uk/news/Warminster-Jewel/story-4558877-detail/story.html.

So just where is the treasure still to be found in the fields around Warminster?
