The Vicky Strong Cream Tea Funday & Pedalo Challenge!

We are organising an event called 'The Vicky Strong Pedalo Challenge'.  We will be riding a pedalo along the Kennett & Avon Canal over the Spring Bank Holiday weekend, and aim to travel approximately 40 miles.  We will be starting at Great Bedwyn on Friday 27th May and will be finishing at Bathampton on Monday 30th May.  Walkers & Supporters are 'Very Welcome'... please come along and give us lots of encouragement! In addition to this we will also be holding 'The Vicky Strong Cream Tea Funday at Horningsham Village Hall on Sunday 15th May from 1pm - 4pm.  There will be a Tombola, A Raffle, Children's Games & a few Stalls. We will have a bouncy castle & inflatable gladiator in the field, (lots of fun for the children & adults!!) ...and of course lots of lovely home-baked scones & cakes.

On Saturday 23rd April we took the Pedalo (courtesy of the Warminster Lyons Club) to the Three Horse Shoes Mall and collected donations for Dorothy House.  We managed to raise £370.60 towards our Charity event.  Thank you everyone who stopped and took the time to make a donation.

Mrs Vicky Strong sadly passed away in March 2010, after a very short illness.  Dorothy House Hospice, in Winsley made her final weeks comfortable, and provided her family with invaluable support.  And now her family and friends would like to show their appreciation and support and raise as much money as they can for Dorothy House
