Warminster's worst eyesore?

Is this one of Warminster's worst eyesores?
-
The delapidated frontage of the empty shop in the High Street.
-
Inside the ceiling appears to have collapsed - or perhaps it has been ripped ou?
-
Buddleia plants sprout from the roof.
While the Warminster Preservation Society and Warminster Civic Trust join forces to eliminate one eyesore in the middle of the town (the old Town Hall) what about another one a few yards away down the High Street?
Right next door to the historic Chapel of St Lawrence and opposite the Athenaeum Arts Centre, an empty shop is falling to pieces and sprouting shrubs on its roof. It has been empty for far too long and a sign says it has been let but there is little evidence of any action to improve the site and bring something more attractive to our High Street.
Any other eyesores Warminster would be better without?

As you look around most towns these days, this is a very common sight isn't. Such a shame when companies have to close and that the properties then remain empty and some in states like this for such a long time.

ReportIt's such a sorry sight that so many town centres have shops that have been left to get in this condition. Surely the council could come up some scheme so that shops aren't left empty? It's often the case that people can't afford the rent to open shops.
This shop clearly needs some money to be put in it though to ensure it's in a condition where people would wat to rent it.
