personality each week.
This week’s profile has been completed by Adela
Forestier-Walker who was nominated by Susi Tenty of Centre Stage see .
Adela moved to Warminster in 1981 with her husband Alan> Originally they lived in Army quarters, and then (like so many army families
before and since) found that Warminster was where they wanted to settle and
raise their family. They bought their
first house in Longbridge Deverill.
Adela’s greatest commitment in the area has been to the
Athenaeum where she is a Trustee. Having
acted for many years, and also directed, she is now attending acting classes
run by actor Mark McGann – and unlearning and re-learning about the art!
Her hopes for the future include watching her grandchildren grow up alongside her
husband and children for many years to come, and seeing the Athenaeum fully
restored and used all the time.
