An item was purchsed from this shop in Oct 10 but it developed a fault. I took the item back and almost intantly was met with 1) the item was out of warranty and 2) looks like the fault could have been caused by me. I stood my ground but the two owners were hostile and rude. I requested details of the manufacturer and the agent but was told in no uncertain terms that I could not have them as they do not deal with the public. I politely informed them that the Sale of Goods Act 1979 gave me the right to return the item to them but still they were having none of it. Finally when I asked them if they could stop being so nasty and be a bit more polite, they simply asked me to leave the shop which I did gladly. I contacted the manufacturer and agent diect and both were more than happy to speak to and deal with me direct and the manufacturer sent out a new unit completely free of charge. Nothing will entice me to step foot inside this shop ever again. What a shame that a local shop treats local people in such a diabolical manner.
