An annual Act of Remembrance will he held at St Giles Church, Imber on Saturday 19th December at 11am.  Imber church is only open to the public on a few days each year as it stands in the deserted village of Imber, six miles from Warminster, on the Salisbury Plain Training Area.  It is in the care of the Churches Conservation Trust.

Representatives from a number of county organisations, including the Royal British Legion, will lay wreaths at the war memorial in the church.

This will be followed at 2.30 pm by a candle-lit concert of Christmas Music sung by the Babes and Ballads Ladies Choir.  This will also include readings, the St Thomas Handbell Ringers from Salisbury and a string quartet.

Seating is limited but the concert is timed to last no more than an hour.

It is planned for the church to be open on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.
