Conservatives hold Warminster's new South West Wilts constituency

Conservative candidate, Dr Andrew Murrison, has held the South West Wilts constituency with an increased majority.

Dr Andrew Murrison on the platform at the Civic Hall in Trowbridge after having been declared the winner for the South West Wilts seat.
The results were
Dr Andrew Murrison, Conservative, 25,321
Trevor Carbin, Liberal Democrat, 14,954
Rebecca Rennison, Labour, 5,613
Mike Cuthbert-Murray, UKIP 2,684
Crispin Black, Independent, 446
The total number of votes cast was 49,018, making a turnout of 68.4% of the electorate.

A foregone conclusion in this area, in spite of all the uncertainty. We don't exactly live in a marginal seat area! Looking like a hung parliament with 590 of the 649 results already in.
