GEMS Scrapstore & Play Resource Centre - Important Announcement

We are delighted to announce that GEMS Scrapstore & Play Resource Centre is relocating to new premises in Wells!

We have reached full capacity at our shop in Glastonbury and to meet the needs of our members we have found a wonderful new home in much bigger premises, which means we can expand and develop our services and increase the variety and quantity of all our wonderful resources!

Therefore we will be closed for business from April 26th 2010 while we move, and will be re-opening for business at 9a Market Street, Wells BA5 2DS.

You will find us right behind the bus station at the rear of the main carpark. Look for a detached brick unit with large grey doors and our sign above!

We will be holding a Launch Event on Saturday May 22nd from 10am – 4pm to formally open our lovely new Scrapstore and we welcome you to attend.

We would like to thank Somerset Community Foundation Grass Roots Fund, Wells Town Council and the Co-operative Community Fund for assisting us with our relocation.

Sedgemoor members will be pleased to hear that we are now working hard to bring our services back into the district in the near future.

NEW MEMBERSHIP RATES & SCRAP PRICES

In line with our relocation and expansion we will also be introducing a new membership pricing structure and rates for scrap purchases. It will be an easier and fairer system which means you will continue to get excellent value for money.

This new pricing structure will be introduced when we re-open for business in May 2010.

ACCOUNTS & INVOICING

We will now be offering organisations such as schools and children’s services the opportunity to hold an account with us, which will make it easier for your staff to access the Scrapstore without worrying about petty cash and receipts. This means that we can invoice your administration periodically. Please inquire if you would like more information or to set up an account.
