The Economy and Tourism group of Warminster and Villages Community Partnership (WVCP) met last week with Elisabeth Collyns in the chair.

The boating lake in Warminster's Town Park
The following points were discussed:
Interest in the future of the old Town Hall continues. Cllr Chris March is preparing an agenda item for the next Warminster Area Board on 4th March.
The Group will share a stand with WVCP at the Mayor's Community Day on Saturday 27th February (10 to 4 at the Assembly Rooms).
The boats and bouncy castle will operate in Warminster Town Park during the Easter holidays and on weekends and through the summer holidays until the end of October.
A list of empty shops and business premises was circulated. Among the twenty premises listed eight empty shops are available.
A grant of £100 has been requested from Warminster Town Council to fund a leaflet giving details of Crusader Park and Warminster Business Park.
