Scratchbury Hill, Norton Bavant
for that all important shopping. Mike Barnett, supervisor at Warminster's Iceland store says, "This year we are not quite as busy as usual as our new stores have opened in Trowbridge but customers come here for the frozen goods - sausage rolls are always popular at Christmas."
Here's an old fashioned game to play at Christmas - (Health and Safety won't like this!). Put some sultanas in a shallow fireproof dish - soak them in brandy - set light to it - then pick out the sultanas through the flames - its called Snapdragon!
And here's an idea for a non-alcoholic drink - mix equal parts of ginger ale with apple juice.
Today's cracker joke:
Q How do snails keep their shells shiny?
A They use snail varnish
