Warminster Power Cuts

Scottish and Southern Energy report that the power cuts in the town this afternoon were caused by the trip of a safety switch.  At one time they had 37,000 people without power in Warminster, Westbury,.Frome, Trowbridge and Shepton Mallet.  By switching to other suppliers some households were restored with minutes - others had to wait longer.
