Warminster Town Council listen to plans for new railway group

Councillors on the Town Development Committee of Warminster Town Council heard on Monday about the planned activities of a new railway supporters group.

Graham Ellis from Transwilts Community Rail Partnership explained how the group is being set up to work alongside community partners with the aim of promoting existing rail services. The group is particularly interested in improving links between north and south Wiltshire, ie Swindon and Salisbury.
The public are invited to the Group's Launch Meeting to be held on Friday 26th March at Bridge House, Trowbridge at 7.30pm.
