Fly past?

Yes I also saw these as I was driving on the bypass. I assumed they were connected to the Jubilee somehow - wasn't there a flypast in Southampton at some point?

Late Friday afternoon whilst relaxing in my garden these three aircraft flew over my garden heading towards the barraks.
Going down the garden to follow them I could see them circle a couple of times whilst still keeping in their formation, Before the helecopetr left the formation flew off in a different direction. Followed a few minutes later by the two other aeroplanes still in formation going back the same direction as they came.
Does anyone know if this was a fly past or something to do with the Queens Diamond Jubilee celebrations?
