ReportNot sure how these categories work as this is not listed under pub, but under restaurant. Accommodation also available so it should be listed under that as well - but only one category allowed.
The Angel, an old coaching inn, is a popular local pub with good dining room/restaurant - food can also be eaten in the bar.
Varied menu which last week included a wild rabbit lasagne and sole - and a delicous warm treacle tart with marmalade ice cream.
Good decor with beams, woodburning stoves, lively atmosphere and wonderful high backed wooden bench in the bar.

ReportI popped in here for the first time the other day with a friend and we have a really nice lunch. Reasonably priced and good service too.

The Angel is welcoming, comfitable, and offers top quality food and service which until now has been difficult to find near Warminster. The menu changes daily and is resonably priced. Dogs and children are welcome in the bar, this place is hard to beat!
This is my favourite local pub. Absolutely fantastic food from a wide and varying menu. Some very good wines too - particularly the reds! Also, I stayed there once for a wedding and though they are not very posh, they are very comfortable and homely and were only about £60 per night.
