Always worth a vist even if you don't think you need anything! I regularly visit just to see what surprises they have in stock - some very long debs' gloves for a play came from Dent's, as did shooting gloves - all at a fraction of the price where many of them are sold in big and posh retailers.

This is another of Warminster's treasures. Dents factory shop is worth a sightseeing visit just to see the variety of stock on display - but you won't be able to resist walking out with one of its brilliant bargains.
The shop is like Aladdin's cave with colourful bags, gloves, scarves and hats hanging around the walls. The collection of bags is the best I have ever seen - fantastic creations that should only be seen at the opera. There are elegant trimmed gloves that reach to your elbow and sparkly scarves that shimmer in the dark. There are also woolly hats and gloves for wintery weather as well as sheepskin slippers, cotton hankies and leather wallets.
The only gloves that are made in Warminster now are the men's gloves made of peccary skin. Can't remember exactly what they sell for but it is not nearly as much as it would be if you bought them in Harrods. There are bargains galore to be found here.By Victoriaco at 15:59 on 12/01/10
