Our party was beGINning to swing – the local group had arrived with the drums being first out of the van. What with the live music and the promise of a stripogramme later in the evening, this gig promised to be erotic as well as alcoholic.

But suddenly my head started to throb and I was finding it hard to focus. In a kind of panic I ‘d erratically started to stagger across the room as I felt a leg begin to wobble.
