Who ever said there was nothing to do in Warminster?

This summer there are plenty of activities to do in and around Warminster town. The sports and leisure clubs have much to offer to those who want to try something new, get fit and make a new group of friends.

The most popular of these must be the Warminster Sports Centre who with their 6 week gym trial has attracted many who wish to reclaim not only their bikini bodies but also to discover ones inner self with the stress releasing exercise of Thai Chi (at only £3 a session!).

However, Warminster does not just accommodate those who wish to exercise excessively, in fact the Bowls club is the oldest in Wiltshire yet encourages the youngest from Wiltshire to get involved, especially in these summer months ahead.

While not directly in Warminster, the Corsley Tennis Club is fantastic in its location between Warminster and Frome. Once members, the club is a great place to spend Saturday afternoons with all the family given the court space available.

The more macho men, and women, of the community may find comfort in both the football and rugby club's of the town. While competitive to become apart of, these clubs really will introduce you into an exciting and mud filled week of matches and tournaments.

With these activities, and many, many more I am sure that you will find something to keep you occupied, exercised and happy.

What a pity that Warminster Bowling Club is hidden away in Ash Walk - many people don't even know it is there - and it is such a peaceful summer activity to watch.
