We tend to get our Christmas Tree from Longleat every year - feels good getting it locally rather than cut down and imported from god knows where. Usually go for Nordman, anti-drop needles, 5ft, £40. Not necessarily the cheapest trees around but they are usually a great shape and good quality.

ReportLongleat Forestry will deliver logs or they can be collected in your own transport - car's ok, trailer good - van even better. The vehicle is weighed, the logs loaded and vehicle weighed again to discover what weight of logs have been loaded. I've twice had deliveries and would recommend getting logs well ahead of when they will be needed so that they have good time to season - six months is good - a year is even better. The Forestry can also provide a length of tree trunk to use as a chopping block.
