  • Roadworks to commence at roundabout near Warminster

    Roadworks will be carried out starting this week along the A303 near Stonehenge.
    Roadworks are due to be carried out at the A303 trunk road Longbarrow Roundabout near Stonehenge and Warminster this week. There will be 24 hour lane closure while the work is carried out with a 40mph temporary speed limit in the area. The work is expected to last until June 2013.  Traffic delays are to be expected in this area during the work.

    Train delays of up to two hours.
    Major delays across Warminster, Westbury and Trowbridge are expected today following a train fault earlier this morning. Delays of up to two hours are expected with some service cancellations.     The painting of double yellow lines was disrupted in Warminster after a car was parked in the way of the painter's tracks.  Wiltshire Council planned to paint double yellow lines along Bradley Road, Warminster however a gap has been left after a car was parked. Workmen worked around the car and attempted to paint the lines as far as they could under the car so no one would be able to park there.  Letters are sent to residents...
